October Fever . . .

Hello Loves,
So this whole weekend was amazing! I finally had 3 days off from work & I spent the entire weekend relaxing and spending time with my family and friends! As October came to an end this weekend I had plenty of events to dress up for! First off, I got these amazing cupcakes delivered to my In-laws for the 25th wedding anniversary! Maria at Thats My Cupcake in Oakville, Ontario made them for me! They are absolutely gorgeous <3! I'm glad my In-laws enjoyed them.. mmmmm

So on Friday I went to lunch with a couple of friends after class.. before we headed out for Halloween costume shopping at Party City. It was a perfect day outside. The weather was just right. A little chilly so I layered a couple of pieces together for a very casual, comfy but stylish day out!

Also, I had a little fun for Halloween and dressed up as Genie. I really really wanted to be Princess Jasmine but since I'm in a long distance relationship and my fiance lives in Canada.. I chose a different costume. I really wanted him to be Aladdin & I'd be princess Jas.. but theres always next yearr! So for the makeup I did a dark Arabic eye look that I'm obsessed with recently! I always do dark eyes and my signature nude lip.. If you guys would like a tutorial, let me know! I'm no professional though haha.

By the end of the night we came to a conclusion that I was a Genie Barbie <3

Fall is hereeee!

Fall is here! Finally I can whip out my boots and not look dumb wearing them around in the warm Texas weather! What a gorgeous picture of the trees changing colors in Toronto! My Father-in-law sent me that lovely picture to show me how the trees change colors and everything looks so magical!! Today was most def. a preview day of what winter will be like here. The rain had brought about a whimsical cold front and with that came out the boots, scarves and winter coats!!! I spent the entire day today on campus, just working on an assignment and walking around campus. The weather was amazing, I loved how it was cold and windy with a drizzle of rain. All I was missing was my fiance holding my hand and a Starbucks Vanilla Latte in the other...I think it's supposed to be warm again tomorrow, so the layering and boots were def. a one day stand till the cold weather shows up again.  I'll put up a picture of my outfit of the day! I lost my memory card for my camera, so the iphone pics will have to do for now.. :)
